Detailed Description Production Of Smart Tachograph Cards

The start of card production is binding on the Contractor and in the event that it is unable to meet this commitment, the clauses provided for in the declaration will be imposed.

At this stage, the Ministry has an information system for the electronic submission and management of applications for the issuance of cards, and the Contractor wishes to provide, during the contract, as a service, the issuance of ET cards.

Specifically, the Contractor is going to offer the following services:
Smart Tachograph Cards which will comply with the technical specifications herein.
ET card production service. The Contractor or one of its subcontractors will assume the role of MSCA (Member State Certification Authority) and the role of CP (Card Personalization organization). More specifically:
Creation of digital certificates for ET cards. The Contractor must have an appropriate system for producing & storing digital keys and digital certificates for insertion into ET cards. It will also cooperate with the Ministry in the process of delivering Greek digital keys from the EU.
Personalization and printing of ET cards, in accordance with prior agreement with the Ministry regarding the appearance of the cards.
