Detailed Description Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning And Maintenance Of An Automated Fare Collection And Fare Evasion System

Supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, support and maintenance of an automated Fare Collection System and a Fare Evasion System. The following deliverables are the minimum requirements to achieve the desired results.
6.1.1 The Supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all devices/equipment which shall be installed on the buses and at depots.
6.1.1.1 Driver Console - Fare Transactions and collection.
6.1.1.2 Pre-Trip Inspection.
6.1.1.3 Ticket Validators – (Cashless card and Bank Card transactions).
6.1.1.4 Hand-Held Ticket Validator – (For Inspection Use). POS and/Ticket Selling Machines (accept different modes of payment, cash/notes & coins, bank cards, SASSA cards, cashless cards).

6.1.2 Supply, deliver, install and commission all devices/equipment at which passengers can purchase and reload smart Fare Media.
6.1.2.1 POS and/Ticket Selling Machines (accept different modes of payment, cash/notes & coins, bank cards, SASSA cards). -15-
6.1.2.2 Smart Card Registration
6.1.2.3 Staff Card - MTC employee card to use on bus.
6.1.2.4 Where MTC may elect to appoint merchants as collecting agencies, supply, deliver, install and commission all POS devices/equipment for sales of smart fare media

6.1.3 Supply, deliver, install and commission all devices/equipment at the bus depots for driver dispatching.
